Loaf & Little is two founders, Tony and Kaitlyn, and three real cats: Sam, Lila and Hazel. Our first babies had four paws, so our first product stars them: a convertible baby zip footie, or footie pajamas, in three cat prints, one for each cat. We made 150 in our first run, 10 of each print in each size.
Sam, the talker
Sam is a sleek, short-haired silver-grey lynx-point tabby with blue eyes, and he was our first cat. We found him as a kitten on the side of the road in fall 2021, and he never left. He's the reason any of this exists, and he's the talker, which is why his print says MEOW.

Lila, the quiet one
Lila is a cream-and-grey lynx-point tabby with blue eyes who came home in spring 2023 so Sam wouldn't be lonely. She's the quiet one, the loaf who started it all.

Hazel, the cuddler
Hazel is a brown mackerel tabby with green eyes who waited more than a year at a rescue until we brought her home in summer 2024. She's the cuddler, which is why her print has hearts.

How a print is made
Every print starts with a photograph of our actual cat. That photo becomes watercolor art of our real cat, made with digital tools, and Kaitlyn, our co-founder, designs the finished print at home. Each footie stars Sam, Lila or Hazel, and each print belongs to its own cat.

Each footie is $34. Every print is 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex, with a two-way zipper, fold-over mitten cuffs and fold-over feet, in sizes 0-3M to 18-24M.
